I'm currently sitting in the Charlotte airport. We board in about 15 minutes. I started writing a list of some of my most notable travel stories. Here is what I have right now:
- overnight bus from new york to norfolk. georgia (country) man said he “saved me a seat.” i had to sit next to him! he asked me if i had a boyfriend (i lied and said yes) and he also said i could put my head on his shoulder. to his credit, he let me move to the inside seat.
- went through the wrong security on the way to florida and had to circle back and go through it again to get to the correct gate
- sat in the wrong seat at first on plane from fl-clt
- walked around nyc with weird narcissistic guy for like 3 HOURS taking photos. paid me like $160 tho.
- tried japanese curry in nyc.
- had wine in paris
- stuck on plane in iceland
- train from paris to london-sat across from English couple, man had a horrible cold or SOMETHING
- woman in kosovo served us tea and turkish coffee-we came to work on her home
- lots of stray dogs in kosovo
- mass service in kosovo
- maternity session in nyc (brooklyn bridge park and dumbo)
